Claudia Renkwitz was born January 11, 1974 in Veracruz, Mexico.
At the age of sixteen she joined the Canadian Armed Forces HMCS Hunter Naval Reserve, where she was awarded for being the youngest member ever to join the force.
Shortly after leaving the Armed Forces she developed a great interest in sports and fitness, and she enrolled in various fitness courses.
She began training for competitions in the summer of 1997 and after seven months of hard training she won the 1997 Ontario’s Novice Championships.
Claudia is currently coordinating the Greater Windsor Sports Corporation, a non-profit organization she has created, that helps youths to enhance their well being through sports, wellness and educational activities
She is developing various fitness programs ranging from club activities, after-school fitness and safety programs, boot camps and educational workshops through out the numerous fitness clubs in the city of Windsor. We are lucky to have an instructor such as Claudia teaching various group fitness classes at Lifestyles.
Claudia hopes to be a positive role model for the youth community and perhaps be the first woman to go to the Olympics as a boxing coach.
